The Old Pecan Street Arts Festival has been an Austin tradition for many years. What is now known as Sixth Street in downtown Austin, was formerly known as Pecan Street (thus the name of the festival.)
This year, there were six stages of local Austin musicians, food vendors, juried art show, artists and craftspeople that turned Sixth Street into a street fair. As an addition to the festival part of 7th Street was also closed and had large carnival rides and the AMN stage.
