We attended the Benefit for Austin Poster Artist Micael Priest: Saturday, March 29, 2003 @ Scholtz Beer Garden. Live Music included the Shelly King Band, Michael Jackson, The Leeann Atherton Band, the Doak Short Band, Quatropaw and The Golden Dawn Band (who often opened for the 13th Floor Elevators back in the Armadillo World Headquarter days). Many artists donated their time and work to raise money through silent auctions.

Micael Priest has been giving himself tirelessly to the music & art communities of Austin for decades and this benefit was a way for the community to give something back to this great poster artist. Micael was present during the festivities and was seen talking to many of his friends.
